STEAM is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. The end results are students who take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration, and work through the creative process. So far this year we have worked on circuits, coding, magnets, and geometric shapes, just to name a few!

Welcome! I am so excited to have your child in my class! We are going to be learning a lot of new fun and exciting things this year. I grew up in East Cobb, just down the street! I went to Georgia State University and received both my Bachelors and my Masters in Early Childhood Education, along with ESOL and Reading endorsements. When I’m not at school I enjoy hiking with my dog, working in my garden and reading a good book!
